*IMPORTANT: The Guide reflects Connecticut foreclosure law as of January 2013. The General Assembly recently passed a bill making many changes to the state’s Foreclosure Mediation Program. The bill was sent to the governor for his signature. A new and updated 7th edition of the Guide should be available when the governor signs the bill – later in June – and before the changes take effect on July 15. Until then, some of the current Guide’s descriptions of foreclosure mediation procedures will be accurate for only a few more weeks.
